Too much poop. Some genius thought it be a good idea to put the bags and thrash can on the OUTSIDE of the dog park making it more likely for owners to not pick it up
This is a nice dog park - I've met lots of dog owners who drive past closer parks to come here. Large and small dog areas, though feisty little dogs often join the big dogs with no problem. Plenty of room for the dogs to roam, socialize, sniff, and fetch (at least in the big dog side) . They've recently added some agility apparatus. I WISH there was more seating and more shady spots. In the summer, the lack of shade IS an issue for people and dogs. And, of course, there are occasionally bad dog owners who bring unsocialized dogs. Happens at all dog parks, sigh.
Separate small dog (under 25lb) and large dog sections; both have a paved path between gravel and grass play areas. Benches for the humans. Easy access to water and the facilities are beautifully maintained by a friendly gentleman who loves all the dogs. Only issue: poop bags and disposal bins are OUTSIDE of the fenced play yards, so remember to grab a poop bag on your way in!
Spacious pens. Separating large dogs from small dogs. There are some prices of equipment for the dog to run on, water is available and benches to sit on. All in all very good place for doggos!
My dog Loves to play. There's a play ground, many paths to walk and restrooms on the grounds. Please don't bring aggressive dogs and clean up after your pets.thank you!
